„Wenn du so gern zeichnest, warum lernst du es dann nicht?“, bin ich gefragt worden. Da ist bestimmt etwas dran und ich habe sogar Lehrbücher und -filme, allein das Interesse fehlt. Gern zeichnen heißt nicht gleich gern lernen. Ich zeichne und schaue, wie es sich auf Dauer entwickelt. Manchmal kommt dabei so etwas wie die Minipics heraus, das reicht mir schon. // "If you like drawing so much, why don't you learn it?", I've been asked. There's surely something to that, and I even have instructional books and films, it's just a lack of interest. If you like to draw it doesn't mean that you like to learn. I draw and see how it develops in the long run. Sometimes something like the minipics are the result, that's good enough for me.
