(Update Dez. 2011) Deutsch: Als Singer/Songwriter spiele ich seit den späten Neunzigern auf Bühnen. Zu den Highlights gehören Auftritte auf der Buga in Koblenz 2011, im Mainzer Rathaus im selben Jahr, in der View Two Gallery in Liverpool 2008, in Wien 2010 und im Gewandhaus Leipzig im Rahmen der Salam-Shalom-Tournee 2004.

Einige der beliebtesten Songs findet man in der Jukebox von Anis Online, zum Beispiel das Chanson "Wie oft wirst du es noch tun", den Rock'n'Roll "Time for the Dead" und das Folk-Stück "You Never Woke Up With A Bird", bei dem ich live eine Mundharmonika verwende.

Meine bislang 113 Songs sind zumeist groovige Stücke, darunter viel Blues, Ohrwürmer, auch Kinderlieder. Etwa ein Fünftel ist auf Deutsch, der Rest auf Englisch. Auf Bühnen spiele ich nur GEMA-freie eigene Stücke und kann damit leicht neunzig Minuten füllen. Siehe das Auftrittsarchiv mit Fotos.

Manchmal trete ich mit Literatur und Musik gleichzeitig auf, da bin ich flexibel. Auch auf der Fußgängerzone spiele ich, wenn mir danach ist. Die fünf Palästina-Songs singe ich im Rahmen des Kabarettstücks "Der Palästina-Express".

Die CD "Anis. Songwriter's Songs" enthält 17 Songs in Studioqualität. Es ist eine Zusammenstellung von 2010, mit Aufnahmen, die zum Teil bis 1999 zurückreichen. Manche Songs sind arrangiert mit Bass, zweiter Stimme, E-Gitarre und Piano - ein Stück ist mit Saxophon, eines mit Akkordeon - andere sind pure Singer/Songwriter-Nummern mit Gitarre und Gesang. Vieles davon ist auf der Jukebox kostenlos anzuhören.

Dort stehen auch einige experimentelle Sachen, etwa Songs von der CD "Anis Electric", die innerhalb von vierundzwanzig Stunden komponiert und aufgenommen wurde. Die Geschichte dazu steht hier.

English: As a singer/songwriter I have been playing on stages since the late nineties. Among the highlights are appearances on the Federal Garden Show in Koblenz in 2011, in the town hall of Mainz in the same year, in the View Two Gallery in Liverpool in 2008, in Vienna in 2010 and in the Gewandhaus Leipzig during the Salam Shalom Tour in 2004.

Some of the most liked songs can be downloaded in the Jukebox of Anis Online, e.g. the chanson "Wie oft wirst du es noch tun", the rock'n'roll song "Time for the Dead" and the folk piece "You Never Woke Up With A Bird" for which I use a harp (British: harmonica) in live shows.

My so far 113 songs mostly are groovy pieces, among them a lot of blues, catchy tunes, even children's songs. About a fifth is in German, the rest in English. On stage I only play my own stuff and can easily fill ninety minutes. See the stage archives with photos.

Sometimes I combine literature and music in one show, I am flexible in this respect. When I am up to it I also play pedestrian zones. The five Palestine songs I sing in the cabaret program "The Palestine Express".

Some of the songs are arranged, with a bass, a second voice, an electric guitar and piano - one piece has a saxophone, one has an accordeon - others are pure singer/songwriter numbers with guitar and voice.
