Update June 2011: Liana was born in Baghdad in 1982. When she was 13 years old, she began to write down some of her and other people's experiences in life. Most of her poems/khawater are in Arabic. She also wrote an article in English (THE DAY I LOST MY FRIEND), published in English in the Iraqi Kurdish newspaper "Soma" in 2008 |
